It is often said that a wetlands in the prairies is a necessity for life that inhabits the area, it can also be beautiful as seen in the foothills of Avonlea.
A Wrinkle in Time
I have often wondered about who and what hard ships the settlers had when they came to our country to find a new way of life. Wandering through these old houses, one is able to catch a glimpse back to a simpler time!

The Beauty in Dying
I was out trying to capture the beautiful new blooms of this flower? However I started to see the soft colors and muted beauty and shapes that this wilting flower was showing to me. One of my all time favourite flower pictures...ever!
When a flower blooms, it is basically trying to invite anyone and everything to itself..."I am here, I am beautiful, come and see..." A good lesson for our life in a way!
I am a Fan!
A tight shot of a flower blooming...we do not always have to look at things as a whole; we can concentrate on parts and enjoy them for the unique views and sights!
It is amazing what we see in a day, we are bombarded constantly with sights and sounds, even more so with online instant media. I however am constantly amazed at how many things are still new and cool to see, like this coconut oil floating in a glass of tea! Try it, you may like it!
A moment in time.
Ever sit beside a river and wonder how many people or animals have been in that exact same spot. It is very probable that you were not the first one there!
Mini Ice Age
I have always loved how water can change its coarse and always carve a new path. Doing it while the temperatures are freezing adds a whole new level of beauty to surrounding areas.
A Winters Sparkle
Snow falling while there is sun has always made me feel good, whether or not it is the sparkling glowing flakes or the feeling of serenity, it is just so much more uplifting than when it is just snowing and gloomy.
